Pros

  • Zero-tangle conical floating brush — hair never wraps, ever
  • 78°C hot water wash + electrolyzed water disinfection (kills 99.9% bacteria)
  • Triangular mops with 12N pressure clean grout lines better than round pads
  • DirtSense 2.0 detects soil level and re-mops until clean
  • Quietest dock emptying in class (58 dB)

Cons

  • No extending mop arms — edges cleaned by triangular shape only
  • App is basic; lacks advanced map editing and room-specific settings
  • Single side brush (not dual) misses some debris near walls
  • Proprietary cleaning solution required for electrolyzed water

Who Should Buy This

  • Pet owners tired of cutting hair off roller brushes
  • Families with crawling babies wanting chemical-free disinfection
  • Allergy sufferers needing HEPA + antibacterial floors

Our Verdict

The Narwal Freo X Ultra solves the pet hair problem at its source with the **zero-tangle conical brush** — a genuine innovation. Add 78°C wash, electrolyzed water disinfection, and DirtSense re-mopping, and you have the most hygienic robot floor cleaner available. The lack of extending mops and basic app hold it back from 'best overall,' but for pet homes, it's arguably the best choice.
